  1. Bonus eye stabbing points for them all having three-letter acronyms and/or the same first three letters (syn…)

  2. Spiny Norman Says:

    We do all that stuff.

Need to borrow a knitting needle?

  3. Dr Becca Says:

Given the brevity of many of your recent posts, I really think you should reconsider your position on Twitter.

  4. Katharine Says:

    Face it. Proteins are profitable.

  5. CFS Says:

With a p-20? Got one if you need it…oh wait, it’s reserved sorry.

  6. Fuck the proteins, what about the enzymes man?

  7. Thanks dude……Profitin….that’s what I’m gonna call the next new one we discover! It’ll sound like an innocuous actin binding protein, only it will make heaps and heaps of cash when expressed….muwahhhahaha….

  8. Maybe even PhysioProfitin, now that I think about it….hehehe

  9. Katharine Says:

    Busted[K]nuckles, enzymes are proteins.

  10. Historiann Says:

“For what will it Profitin a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?”

    (Matthew 16:26, slightly amended.)

  11. zencomix Says:

    “Protein gets out protein!”

  12. Dennis Says:

Fukyutin? Is that the target of the natural product, suckmycoxin B?

  13. J Says:

This is of no consequence whatsoever, but Tim: The link you lunk actually confirms Katharine’s point (reading in part “enzymes, which are defined as catalytic proteins…”) I think it’d be fair to say that ribozymes (“RNA enzymes”) are enzymes in a similar way that koalas are bears. That is, it’s true in a way, but in a different, more important way, it’s not.

  14. Tim Says:

okay J; we both get full marks for being overly pedantic douchebags. call it a draw?
